Questions for the husband.
Husbands, love your wives.…—Colossians 3:19
If ... the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers ... thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him....—Deuteronomy 13:6-8
He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.—Matthew 10:37-38
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.—Ephesians 5:25

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith YHWH.—Romans 12:19
Love is … not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered.—1 Corinthians 13:4-5, NASB

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 2:3-5 (NASB)
